STS Beava backer board removes the bounce in timber floors to prevent cracked tiles and grout lines. These strong fibre cement boards used with large heavy tiles >60kg.
Fix using either a flexible tile adhesive or polyurethane glue. Beava backer boards don’t rot, swell or delaminate like plywood even in the wettest conditions.
