Why Should You Insure Your Shipment?

There are few things worse than a lost or damaged packages on delivery. That’s why we now offer cheap and affordable Shipping Protection on all orders. To avail of this service, simply opt in to protect your delivery at checkout.

 

What happens if my order is lost or damaged that has Shipping Protection?


  1. If your order is lost during delivery, simply email deliveries@tiles4less.co.uk with your order number and date your order was due to arrive. One of our customer service team members will rearrange delivery for you immediately.
  2. If your order is damaged during delivery, simply email deliveries@tiles4less.co.uk no later than 24 hours after delivery has taken place with photographs of your damaged products and order number. One of our customer service team members will rearrange delivery for you immediately. Please also ensure to mark on the delivery docket beside your signature what is damaged and how many. Failure to mark the delivery docket with what is damaged may invalidate your claim.

 

What is the difference between having Shipping Protection and not having Shipping Protection?

If you avail of Shipping Protection and if your order is lost, stolen or damaged it will be replaced immediately (subject to stock levels).
If you do not have Shipping Protection on your order and your order is Lost, Stolen or damaged during transit, there can be a delay in organising replacements as a dispute needs to be submitted to the carrier of the materials. This may require additional information from the customer (depending on if the order was Lost, Stolen or Damaged) that is then passed onto the carrier so that a dispute is processed or the materials located. This can take a few days to be processed and also then allow a few days for materials to be redelivered.
